Add photos puts photos and video on a lot. You shoot with your phone's own camera, then pick the files on the Add photos page.
Before you start
- The lot is in your Metrc inventory on Budtello.
- The photos and video are already on your phone.
- Video must be at least 1080p. Lower video is turned away before it uploads.
- A photo can be up to 15 MB, a video up to 500 MB.
- A listing shows up to 8 photos and 2 videos. Files past that are kept with the lot.
Open Add photos on your phone
From your computer:
Open Sell and click Add photos (the camera). In a narrow window the button moves into the … menu at the end of that row, where it reads Add photos too. To open it on one lot, tick just that row on the Metrc Inventory tab first. Or, on the Inventory tab, click the + camera on that lot's row.
You should see: The Add photos page.
Under Shoot it on your phone, click Show a code.
Point your phone's camera at the code and open the link it shows.
You should see: The Add photos page on the phone, with “Handed over from your computer” across the top.
- Scan the code within 15 minutes. After the scan, the phone can upload for 12 hours.
- The phone opens photos and video only: no prices, no offers, no customers.
- Or sign in on the phone and open market.budtello.com/quick. Bookmark it for next time.
Find the lot
Point the phone at the barcode on the Metrc tag.
No scan? Type the last 5 characters of the tag in No scan? Type the tag's last 5. Or type a strain or a farm in Or find it in your stock.
You should see: The page title changes to “Add photos —” and the strain, and the lot shows Tested or Untested.
Add the files
Tap Open library or upload. Pick the photos and video.
You should see: Each file reads “processing”, then “ready”. A file that fails offers Retry and Remove.
If you like, tap the smells that fit under Nose — tap all that fit (or type one and tap Add nose), and pick a Grade.
Tap Save. The button shows how many files are ready.
You should see: How many files went on the lot, its tags and pounds, and “live on the listing” when the lot is on the market.
Tap Start the next tag for the next lot.
