An offer is a private price list for one customer, on its own link. Your prices on the market do not change. The customer opens the link without a Budtello account.
Before you start
- Your lots are on the Inventory tab of Sell.
- Budtello does not email the offer for you. It copies the email for you to paste and send from your own email, phone or chat.
- When the customer you name is a Budtello buyer, a line with the link also shows in your conversation with them in Messages.
- A lot with no price yet can go in an offer. It becomes a private listing at the offer price. It does not go on the market.
Create the offer
Open Sell. On the Inventory tab, tick the rows you want to offer. Tick nothing to offer every lot that is Listed.
Click Create offer (on a narrow screen, Offer).
You should see: The Create offer window, with your rows ticked. Untick a row to leave it out.
Under Set your prices, set each price in Offer $/lb: type it, or click −$25 or +$25. The buttons beside Adjust all selected move every ticked row at once.
You should see: A lot with no price says it needs one. Give it a price before you go on.
Under Who it's for (optional), type the customer's name in Customer, and a Note if you want one. Once your licence is verified, you can pick Oregon dispensaries and wholesalers from the list.
Under How long it's good for, move the slider. It starts at 14 days and runs from 1 day to No expiry.
You should see: The date the offer ends, under the slider.
Click Create and copy email.
You should see: “Sent — live now”, the link, Undo with a count of seconds, and a line that says whether the email was copied. The link works at once. Undo, within 30 seconds, stops the link.
With nothing ticked and nothing listed, Budtello asks you to tick the rows you want to offer.
Send it
Paste the email into a new email in Gmail or Outlook.
You should see: The offer as a table, with the link.
If the line says your browser blocked the copy, click Copy email in the window, then paste.
Or click Copy link and paste the link into a text or a chat.
Find an offer later
The Offers tab of Sell lists every offer you made. A live offer has Copy email and Copy link on its row, the same as in the Create offer window. The rest is behind the row's ⋯: Send again, Copy invite (a line of text with the link), Copy text, Download PDF and, last, Revoke. In its first 30 seconds an offer's row also has Undo send.
To see only live or only expired offers, click + Filter and pick a Status. Clear all shows every offer again.
Revoke acts at once: the link stops working and the offer stays in your list. The line above the list offers Undo for 8 seconds, which makes the link work again.
When an offer runs out, anyone who opens its link sees “This offer has expired”.
Send an expired offer again
On the Offers tab, find the offer marked Expired.
Click Send again on its row.
You should see: “Sent again — new link, live now”, and whether the email was copied. The new offer's row has Undo send for 30 seconds.
- Send again makes a new offer at a new link: the same lots at the same prices, for the same customer, with the same note, good for as long as the old one was. The old offer stays as it was.
- A lot you deleted since is left out, and the line says how many.
- A live or revoked offer has Send again behind its ⋯ too.
Revive an expired offer
Revive brings back the same link instead of making a new one.
On the Offers tab, find the offer marked Expired.
Click its ⋯, then Revive, then Revive now.
You should see: “Revived — live now at the same link.” Undo is on the row for 30 seconds.
- The offer is live again at the same link for 14 days, with the same prices as before.
- No email is sent. Tell the customer yourself.
- A revoked offer cannot be revived. Send again makes a new one.
